Round Mountain
Round Mountain is located on NC 122 (Howard Gap Road), between Warrior Mountain Church and the I-26 bridge. Access is through a gate via a gravel road beneath the power transmission lines, with parking available along the roadside.
The trail is a strenuous half-mile each way, with a small picnic area at the trailhead. The Saluda Community Land Trust has leased a plot of land northwest of the trail and plans to develop a looped trail system branching off the current out-and-back trail.
