Robinson Community Garden
The Robinson Community Garden was one of the first projects of Saluda Community Land Trust. It was established in 2008 after a long search for an accessible location. Saluda locals, Pat and Marcus Robinson, offered the plot that their grandmother once farmed at the corner of Poplar and Henderson streets. They donated this land to SCLT in order to continue the legacy of their grandmother and the land she cultivated.

Today, the garden features 20 individual plots. It uses a sustainable water system where rainwater is collected, stored, and then pumped to each plot. The produce grown in the garden is sold at the Saluda Farmers Market during the growing season, and some of it is also used by local restaurants.
